About the third night they started asking Tom questions and the cursor would go like this and the like this and fly off the table. And a couple of writers whom I knew dearly started screaming and they put the cursor back on the table and finally by uhhh a series of questions and answers Tom, the alleged presence in the room, kept saying “experiment, experiment, experiment. Why are you turbulent?” Oh the cursor would go all over the place and what we got from this alleged presence was that his wife whose name was Gertrude had, had been a patient at the San when he was a patient at the San and because the, the treatment for tuberculosis was I think in those days a little bit primitive they had to try anything they could to see if they could save lives and also they of course wanted the medical knowledge. So there, there must have been some level of experimentation there. Gertrude died before uhhh her time I guess according to Tom’s account and he could never uhhh he could never forgive the doctors and the people who ran that place. He could never forgive the fact that he lost his wife before her, her time.
